Key Responsibilities:
- Case Preparation: Assist with drafting, organizing, and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
- Legal Document Management: Draft and review a range of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
- Legal Research: Conduct research on U.S. immigration law topics and compile findings for attorney review.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather essential information, provide case updates, and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Attorney Assistance: Draft correspondence, manage case files, and support attorneys with legal tasks.
- Case File Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital case files, supporting seamless access to client information.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update client relationship management (CRM) systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient case tracking.
- Technology & Process Optimization: Leverage the latest legal technology tools to promote efficient operational processes, streamline workflow, and enhance case management.
- Administrative Support: Track case progress, monitor deadlines, and assist with scheduling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and paralegals on case strategy, project coordination, and overall case management.
Qualifications:
- Law degree with attorney admission preferred but not required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in U.S. immigration law.
- Fluent in English (native or professional proficiency).
- Experience with legal practice software such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a strong plus but not required.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing AI for work product is highly preferred.
Compensation Package
- Monthly Salary: USD $1,500 $2,500, depending on experience.
- Paid Time Off: U.S. federal holidays, 5 paid sick leave days, 5 annual leave days
- Additional Benefits: 5% health insurance subsidy.
- Paid Local Holidays: After completion of 12 months.
- Performance-Based Reviews: Regular compensation and role reviews based on impact and efficiency.
Working Hours
This role involves a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day, not including a 1-hour break. Finalists will have an opportunity to discuss potential schedule flexibility during the last phase of the hiring process.

- Case List: Please provide a written breakdown of your prior immigration case experience, specifying the type of case (e.g., asylum, waivers, VAWA, U visa, adjustment of status, H1b, O1, EB1A etc) and the estimated number of cases you have worked on for each category.
- Proof of Qualifications: Academic transcripts and/or certificates may be requested during the later stages of the hiring process.
- Reference Checks: We may request professional references to validate your experience, work ethic, and alignment with our team values.
Additional Information
- This is a fully remote position based in the Philippines.
- You will be contracted as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own tax compliance.
- A 3-month probationary period applies, during which your performance will be closely evaluated.
